Exhausted after 36-hour-long shift, Faridabad man working as security guard dies

The Hush Post: Allegedly forced to do a 36-hour-long shift, a man working as a security guard died under severe hot conditions in Faridabad. The security guard was stationed in Sector 59 of the Faridabad-based ACTL company.

The local police have initiated investigating the matter and a post-mortem was conducted on the body of the deceased security guard, a report said.

A video shows the security guard taking his last breath. The deceased was working as a guard at the company for the last 25 years, the report said.

Notably, the company had been informed that the security guard had suffered a heat stroke and was unwell for a long time.

A nephew of the deceased man said that he had not received primary treatment for 30 minutes prior to his treatment.

The report said that the spot where the deceased security guard had been deployed had no access to drinking water nor was there any shade from the scorching sunlight, the report said.
