A daily wager from Hisar would have never imagined that his daughter would fly in a chopper at her wedding farewell. Jubilant with his daughter Santosh’s grand farewell, Satbir Yadav said that it was the inclination of the bridegroom’s family.
The bridegroom Sanjay is the only son in the family and his father had wished that the newly married couple should be arriving home by a chopper.
Following the father’s wish, Sanjay and his better-half Santosh took a flight from Hasangarh village (the residence of the bride Santosh).
According to the news report in Dainik Bhaskar newspaper, no dowry was taken at the wedding and the bridegroom’s family took only Rs one as ‘shagun’.
It was a wish of Sanjay’s father who wanted to set an example for ‘Beti Bachao-Beti Padhao.’ The villagers of Hasangarh said that they had never seen such a wedding before where there was no dowry and groom’s family despite being rich were so simple.
The bride Santosh is a graduate and the bridegroom Sanjay is in the final year of hisgraduation. They both got married on February 10.
Santosh’s father is a daily wager and has three children. Santosh is the eldest one.
