In the Jind bye-elections, an independent candidate backed by the JJP and Aam Aadmi Party, Digvijay Chautala is leading after round 3. In the second round, the JJP was ahead having polled 7,892 votes. The close second in the race was Krishan Midha of the BJP who had polled 6554 votes till the end of round 2. Randeep Singh Surjewala had polled 3,923 while the INLD candidate got just 1,365 votes.
However, after round three also JJP backed candidate Digvijay Chautala is clearly ahead in the race.
