Lady judge files police complaint: Chandigarh-based advocate husband beats her, strangulated her, tried to kill her

A lady judge posted in Haryana in a police complaint has accused her advocate husband of trying to kill her by strangulating her.
She has alleged that he used to beat her up, hurl verbal abuses and expletives at her and even tried to kill her. She has further alleged that he used to track her salary details and expenditure.
The victim civil judge is posted in Jagadhari and she has filed a complaint at the Jagadhri police station. She is married to an advocate in Sector 41, Chandigarh.
According to a Hindi national daily, as per her complaint, on May 3, she requested her husband to attend her nephew’s birthday party. He got angry and started abusing her verbally. He caught her by the neck and slapped her. Malik hit her on the head many times and tried to strangulate her with his elbow.
Then, he pulled her and threw her on the bed, according to her complaint. With one hand on her neck, he blocked her nose and mouth with a pillow with the other hand.
Her nose started bleeding and she fell unconscious. When she regained consciousness after some time, she went to the court and apprised her senior judges about the matter. They immediately rushed her to the hospital and a police complaint was filed from the hospital itself.
The victim civil judge got inducted into the Haryana Judicial Service on April 7, 2016.
She got married to the advocate on February 15, 2017.
