The Hush Post: Board exams this time round have been making headlines for all the wrong reasons. In a strange and funny revelation by the invigilators of the Haryana School Education Board to a TV news channel, the teachers checking answer-sheets of students have said that while checking answer-sheets, they are coming across silly answers to questions.

One student wrote a lyrics of a song ‘pehli pehli baar mohabbat ki hai.’

Another student wrote yet another song: “Meri rashke kamar.”

While some others thought reciting God’s name might help him or her to pass the exam — Jai mata di, jai mata di, sare bolo jai mata di.”

Givng vent to his angst, one  student wrote something like this, “Main garib hoon, shaadi hone wali hai, fail hua to baizzati ho jayegi…..”

Another student went a step ahead and penned down his phone number, saying, “Mujhe pass kar dena…agar kuch aur poochana ho to phone kar dena.”

Whether you call it a mockery of the state of education in Haryana or the non-serious attitude of the youth and their parents, it depicts the sorry state of affairs of the state’s education system.
