An irate Innova driver with four occupants inside dragged a toll tax attendee for about 8 kms on the bonnet of the vehicle. Then they beat him up and threatened him with dire consequences. They told him that his family will be wiped out if he reported the incident to the police.
Earlier, he asked the toll tax staffer at Manesar toll booth: “You’ll stop my car? Even the police doesn’t stop my car,” said the driver, refusing to pay the toll.

And then the worst happened. The driver immediately accelerated past the toll tax barrier without paying at the Manesar toll plaza. The attendant who was in front of the vehicle would have been crushed had he not climbed on to the bonnet. The entire sequence was captured by the CCTV installed at the booth.
The driver did not stop. Another angle in the same video released by news agency ANI shows the driver charging down the road, with the toll booth staff still on the bonnet.
“The driver dragged me on his car’s bonnet at a speed of about 100 km/hour,” the toll staffer said.
The toll staffer, identified as Ashok Kumar said he held on to the car’s wipers to save himself from falling.
According to the NDTV, “It was an abduction. The men in the car took me to an isolated place after driving for some 7-8 km toward Manesar. They stopped at a isolated place and beat me up badly,” he said in his complaint.
“The entire incident was caught on CCTV cameras. We are in a process of analysing it and managed to identify the accused,” a police officer said.
Two persons have been arrested and the car in question has also been seized by the police.
