A 56-year-old priest allegedly forced two male workers to try unnatural sex with him at Baikunth Dham Gaushala in Kharak Mangoli of Haryana. The place is located in the vicinity of Panchkula.
The accused was harassing the two male workers for more than ten years. He tried to blackmail them and even threatened the use of black magic if they didn’t accede to his demands. The accused was arrested on Wednesday.
The two victims have been identified as Virender Kumar and Hira Lal. They are residents of Majri, Sector 2 and Badaun in Uttar Pradesh, respectively.
Priest Jai Prakash Giri, the founder of the gaushala, had allegedly sexually assaulted Kumar and Hira Lal at his room. As per a report by the Times of India which quoted Kumar, “The priest forcibly asked us to have sexual relations with him. When we refused, he threatened us with dire consequences. He also lured us saying he would make us the owner of the gaushala after his retirement.”
According to Kumar, the priest had touched his private parts and was forced to have unnatural sex with him. Kumar added, “He has demanded sex at least on 10 occasions. I finally decided to lodge a complaint against him.”
According to the allegations levied against the priest by Lal, the priest was sexually exploiting him in the gaushala for the past 10 years. Before getting sexually involved, the priest used to intoxicate Lal by making him consume alcohol, as per the complaint. Lal reportedly said, “The priest used to force me multiple times to have sex with him at night.” The priest was remanded by the court in a two-day police custody on Wednesday.
