“The culprit waylaid her and shouted “auntyji ruk jao”
The Hush Post: A Panchkula man allegedly stalked a woman and then performed an obscene act in front of her on Sunday. The woman, who is the wife of an advocate, was out for a morning walk in Sector 4 when the incident took place.
In her complaint to the police, the woman said that the man, in his mid-20s, started following her on his scooter near HPSC office. The culprit waylaid her and shouted “auntyji ruk jao”, reported the Times of India. When the woman ignored him, the accused parked his scooter and lowered his trousers. He then started performing an obscene act while passing lewd remarks at her.
Frightened the woman ran away from the spot. On her way, while she was narrating the incident to a passer-by, the man again came near her and started hurling abuses at her. The accused then parked his scooter in front of her and then folded his hands, she informed.
The woman told the police that he was the same man who had tried to snatch her chain in 2016. “I can identify the accused if he comes in front of me. Cops can check the CCTV camera installed at Sector 4 light point,” TOI quoted her as saying.
A case has been registered under Sections 354 A, 294 and 341 of the IPC at Sector 5 Police Station and hunt is on to nab the accused.
