Six killed in a deadly car-truck collision in Rewari

The accident took place on Delhi-Jaipur Highway when the ill-fated car driver lost control over the vehicle and it rammed into a truck coming from the opposite direction.

The Hush Post: Six persons, including two kids, were killed and a woman grievously injured in a head-on collision between a car and truck in Haryana’s Rewari Sunday. The deceased are reported to be from the same family. The injured woman has been admitted to local hospital.

The accident took place on Delhi-Jaipur Highway when the ill-fated car driver lost control over the vehicle and it rammed into a truck coming from the opposite direction. All the occupants, but one, were killed on the spot. The deceased have been identified as Sunil, his wife Rekha, Champi, his wife and two kids Aryan and Naresh.

It is reported that the deceased were going to Jaipur from Delhi. The accident took place at 8 am on Sunday near Khera Border on NH-8 in Rewari. The collision was so strong that the front portion of the car got stuck into the truck and was dragged for quite a distance. The passersby tried to rescue the occupants but didn’t succeed as the car was badly mangled.

The people who had gathered on the spot informed the police and the occupants were then taken to a hospital in Bawal, but six of them were declared dead by the doctors.
