Country’s leading dental care chain Clove Dental launched a special programme ‘ORAL’ on March 13. This initiative is all about oral remedies, awareness and learning. Oral health and hygiene is among the last healthcare priorities for many.
Launched in 2011, Clove Dental network is a member of the Royal Society of Medicine, UK. Also, it is the largest dental clinic chain in India.
“We are glad to launch India’s most affordable and comprehensive dental health plan at just over Rs 499 a year. Nine out of 10 Indians suffer from a dental issue yet they do not visit a dentist, either due to affordability or fear of a dentist,” said Amarinder Singh, CEO, Clove Dental.
This initiative is influenced by Prime Minister’s vision of Ayushman Bharat. The National Health Protection Scheme will cover over 10 crore poor and vulnerable families. Benefits of the scheme are portable across the country. Also, a beneficiary covered under the scheme will be allowed to take cashless benefits from any public or private impaneled hospital across the country.
“We continue to adopt various modes to reach out to masses. However, we realized that affordability and comfort are constant barriers in taking preventive measures,” said Lt Gen Dr Vimal Arora, Chief Clinical Officer, Clove Dental. The special plan offers users Rs 1500 coupons which can be used in about 70% of the treatments that the chain offers including filling, extraction, fluoride.
