2 paragliders die after crash landing in Manali

2 para gliders were killed in a crash in Dobhi area of Manali, Himachal Pradesh on Sunday. The pilot and the tourist sustained serious injuries on crash landing and succumbed to death.

The deceased tourist has been identified as Althvef Bachu V, a Kerala native, while the pilot Naresh hails from a nearby village.

It is learnt that the tourist died on the spot while the pilot was rushed to the civil hospital. He succumbed to death at the hospital.

Ganga Ram, Sarpanch, Village Jitond, said that the police have informed the deceased tourist’s family.

Confirming the incident, SSP Kullu, Raj Kumar Chandel said, “Our team has started the investigation. Both the dead bodies are in our custody right now.”
