After a couple of bright and sunny days the skies will again open up tomorrow in Himachal Pradesh. The weatherman has forecast heavy hailstorm in the next few days.
The Meteorological Department has issue a warning for heavy hailstorm coupled with thunderstorms in various parts of the state. The department has predicted rainfall on April 24 and April 25 in many areas of the state.
Inclement weather conditions continue in the state threatening the apple crop in the state. The skies were clear in capital Shimla and other regions of the state on Tuesday. Shimla recorded a two degree rise in temperature owing to a sunny day.
The weatherman has forecast hailstorm along with thunderstorms in plain areas of Una, Bilaspur, Hamirpur, Kangra and mid-range mountainous regions of Shimla, Solan, Sirmaur, Mandi, Kullu and Chamba districts.
The maximum temperature in the state was recorded in Una at 39.2 degrees. In Kangra the mercury stood at 34.9 degrees, Bilaspur at 36.5 degrees, Hamirpur at 34.7 degrees, Chamba at 32.6 degrees, Sundernagar at 34.3 degrees, Bhuntar at 33.0 degrees, Nahan at 31.1 degrees, Solan at 30.0 degrees, Dharmsala at 26.4 degrees, Shimla at 25.0 degrees, Kalpa at 22.3 degrees, Dalhousie at 21.0 and Keylong at 16.8 degree Celsius.
