The Hush Post: The pilot of the Indian Air Force (IAF) who was missing but was feared dead has been identified as Meet Kumar. Meet was a Squadron Leader. He is a resident of Delhi.

His death has been confirmed. The MIG 21 fighter jet of the Indian Air Force crashed near Jwali, Kangra on Wednesday afternoon.

According to available information, the IAF Mig 21 had taken off from Pathankot at about 12.45 and it was headed towards Kangra. But it crashed at a village near Jwali Kangra after some time.

The Mig 21 was reduced to debris after the crash and it immediately caught fire. Earlier it was believed that the pilot may have ejected after the crash.

However, till the filing of this report, there was no official word on this crash.
