The Hush Post: Five people have been killed and two injured in a massive fire which broke out at Ner Chowk, 10 km from Mandi, Himachal Pradesh.
The fire broke out in a residential complex. Initial reports suggest that the cause of the fire could be a cylinder blast at Soni building. Reportedly, Rajiv Kumar Additional District Magistrate ADM also endorsed that cylinder blast seems to be the reason behind the blast.

Among the five dead are an SDO, his wife, minor child, sister and sister-in-law. One dead has been identified as Amit, who happened to be SDO’s brother. The fire broke out at a marriage function of Amit’s son. Many people are feared trapped in the building at Ner Chowk in Mandi say district authorities.

Three fire engines are at the spot carrying out rescue operations. Though, there are allegations that the fire tenders did not reach on time.
More personnel are being sent in for rescue operations and the situation is under control, the district authorities said. This is a developing story, more updates are awaited.
