A massive fire broke out in Chatri village of Mandi in Himachal Pradesh in the wee hours of Thursday. As a result of the fire, a temple, some shops and a nearby hotel have come down to ashes.
The reason which led to the fire has not been ascertained yet. Though, the fire spread as a result of coming in contact with LPG cylinders which led to massive blasts.
A loss of more than two crores has been estimated. Though, no loss of life has been reported. Immediately after the fire broke out, the fire brigade was pressed into service till which time the locals tried hard to extinguish the fire.
