A soldier of the Indian Army missed his own wedding in Mandi, Himachal Pradesh.
A marriage procession of an Indian soldier was about to leave from his Khair village at Siddhpur panchayat in Mandi to Sadbadhol village in Mandi. Both the families had decorated their homes called relatives and the marriage ceremonies were on. But the groom was missing.
That is when a call came from the groom Suneel in Srinagar. Due to inclement weather Suneel got stuck in Bandipora for many days as the road was blocked due to heavy snowfall. The groom’s uncle Sanjay Kumar said that all the preparations had been carried out.
Now, a new wedding date has been decided for the marriage to take place.
The official Twitter handle of Chinar Corps – Indian Army tweeted, “Don’t worry, life will wait…Just another day in life of a soldier,” on Sunday, after one of its jawans missed his own wedding. The jawan, Suneel, missed his wedding in Himachal Pradesh’s Mandi due to heavy snowfall in Kashmir valley. The bride’s family agreed to a new wedding date.
