In a strange incident a Mexican tourist died in Kullu district of Himachal Pradesh after having breakfast at a restaurant. Police have identified the deceased as 29-year-old Roman from Mexico.
According to news reports, Roman had a breakfast at a restaurant in Manikaran and suddenly felt uneasy. Two other foreign tourists present at the restaurant rushed him to a nearby primary health centre.
Kullu Superintendent of Police Guarav Singh said Roman was rushed to the health centre at around 11 am. However, health officials declared him dead an hour later.
Police have taken his body to Kullu Regional Hospital for autopsy.
The health centre officials called the police to the spot. The police have taken his belongings, including his passport, into custody.
SP Gaurav Singh said proceedings are being carried out under Section 174 of the CrPC at Kullu police station.
