MOST OF HIMACHAL IS LIVING BELOW REFRIGERATOR TEMPERATURE, KEYLONG IS AT -12 DEGREE

The Hush Post: Himachal Pradesh, the state which is also known as the lap of snow is living below the fridge temperature. Himachal hasn’t yet seen much of snow except in the upper reaches of Lahaul Spiti, Kinnaur and Shimla but the temperatures have gone sub-zero and are likely to continue till January 13. The lowest recorded temperature is in Keylong, in Lahaul Spiti district with the mercury going as low as -12 degree followed by Manali at -5 degree. The temperature in Kalpa, Kinnaur is also at -5 degree and the likelihood of it being any better elsewhere is zero. In Kinnaur district’s Sangla, Ribba, Karcham also the temperature is hovering around –5 degree. Even places like Mandi, Kullu and Shimla are witnessing harsh weather and a temperature below zero degree. The maximum temperature was in Solan slightly more than zero at .6 degree while in Dalhousie it was .8 degree.
