The skies in the districts of Una, Bilaspur, Hamirpur and Kangra are predicted to be clear
The Hush Post: The Met department has predicted rainfall in eight districts of Himachal Pradesh in the next three days. Though monsoon has receded, but the western disturbance continues to be active over the state. The districts of Shimla, Solan, Sirmaur, Mandi, Kullu, Chamba, Kinnaur and Lahul & Spiti will receive another spell of rainfall from 3rd to 5th October 2018.
The skies in the districts of Una, Bilaspur, Hamirpur and Kangra are predicted to be clear during the aforesaid period. The temperatures could rise in these districts.
On Tuesday, the weather remained calm and clear in Himachal Pradesh including Shimla. As the skies were clear, a rise of around two degrees above normal was recorded in Shimla.
The maximum temperature on Tuesday in Una was recorded at 33.2 deyrees, Hamirpur at 32.8, Bilaspur at 31.4, Kangra at 31.1 and Sundernagar at 30. In Bhuntar the mercury stood at 29.4, Solan at 27.4, Dharasala at 27.2, Shimla at 23.4, Kalpa 20 and Dalhousie at 17.2 degrees centigrade.
Meanwhile, the minimum temperature in Keylong was recorded at 0.3, Kalpa at 6.0, Manali at 6.4, Bhuntar at 11 and Shimla at 13.9 degree centigrade.
It is to be noted that heavy rainfalls in Himachal Pradesh recently, especially in the Kullu valley, had caused a damage worth Rs. 1400 crores.
