The Hush Post: The Shimla Administration has asked schools to close at 1.30 pm, reason: President Ram Nath Kovind is in town. What does it essentially mean? It means that about 25,000 school children can make merry in the other half of t he day and be home. Or do we say, it is an officially declared bunk?

For a place like Shimla, which is already battling out its routine problems of traffic congestion, any VVIP movement is bound to choke the city. Well, the administration found a way out but a partial one at that. It ordered early closure of schools. So that the VVIP movement involving the President of India does not have to suffer and nor is there any untoward incident regarding students.
