4 killed 3 injured as car falls into gorge in Nankhari, Shimla

The Hush Post: Four were killed and three others injured when a car fell into a deep gorge in Nankhari about 100 kms from Shimla, Himachal Pradesh, the police said Friday.

The four were on their way to Dhanavali village from Nankhari when the incident took place near Dhona village late Thursday night. A police team reached the spot immediately and started rescue work.

Three youths have been identified as Ashish aka Ram Lal (25), Surender (30) and Dalip Kumar (26), all residents of Dhanavali. They died on the spot, the official said. One of the four injured Hemchand (27) succumbed to his injuries later.

The injured – including vehicle owner Suresh (35), Sunder (25) and Neeraj Kumar (32) who have been admitted to a community health centre at Nankhari. This is the second such incident in a week. Earlier this week, 11 people were killed when a vehicle fell into a 200-feet deep gorge in Kullu district.
