22 injured in Una bus accident; driver sped at 80-100/km while talking on phone

The Hush Post: Twenty two people were injured when a bus banged into a truck near Pandoga in Himachal Pradesh.

According to the eyewitnesses and passengers, the accident happened due to the negligence of the driver. The driver of the bus who almost escaped unhurt, was talking continuously on the phone for over half-an-hour. Simultaneously, he was speeding the bus at about 80 to 100 km per hour.

The bus was on its way from Amritsar to Ghumarwin. When the bus reached the border of Himachal near Pandoga, the speeding bus being driven carelessly by the driver crumpled into a truck.

All the injured have been admitted at a nearby hospital. Though, four of them who are reported to be serious have been shifted to PGI.
