Iran has placed an $80 million bounty on the head of US President Donald Trump. Senitments in the Iranian nation are simmering after its top ranked General was killed in an American drone strike on January 3.
According to media reports, the Gulf nation has offered to pay $80 million to whosoever avenges the death of Major General Qasem Soleimani.
Iran’s state TV broadcast the funeral procession of the top Iranian Live. Official broadcasters said that Iran will pay $1 for every Iranian in the country. The cash would go to anyone who kills the US president.
The broadcasters announced, “Iran has 80 million inhabitants. Based on the Iranian population, we want to raise $80 million which is a reward for those who get close to the head of President Trump”.
General Solemani was the number 2 leader in Iran after the Supreme leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei. He was the head of Iran’s elite Revolutionary Guards’ Quds force. Solemani was the mastermind of Iran’s covert operations in Iraq, Syria, Lebanon and Yemen. He had become the face of Iran’s efforts to build a regional bloc of Shiite power.
Earlier on Sunday, Iranian MP Abolfazl Aboutorabi threatened to attack the heart of American politics.
