New Delhi: In a strange case, an admit card has reportedly been issued to a donkey to write recruitment exam for the post of Naib Tehsildar. The goof up has happened in the state of Jammu and Kashmir.
A prankster had the card got issued by Jammu and Kashmir Services Selection Board (JKSSB) in the name of Kachur Khar (which loosely translates in to brown donkey) to sit for the exam to be held on a Sunday. A picture of the ‘admit card’ has gone viral on social media. So much so the admit card also has the animal’s photograph on it.
“Though quite satirical, this comes across as another example of the state of affairs of the selection boards and commissions in India,” someone wrote on a his Twitter handle.
“What if this donkey appears for the exam,” wondered a person on twitter.
This is not for the first time something like this has happened in Jammu and Kashmir. In 2015, the Board of Professional Entrance Examinations had issued an admit card to a cow.
“It was not my intention to hurt anyone’s feeling or make a joke of someone. I filled this form only to check the system,” Abdul Rashid Bhat, the man who was able to get a hall ticket for his cow had said then.
Bhatt had said that he had thought that the prank then would help improve the system. But three years down a donkey has been found to be eligible to sit in an exam of Naib Tehsildar.
