Although Pakistan is claiming that it had sealed Lahore HQ of JuD, and Hafiz Saeed was barred to deliver Friday sermons, Indian intelligence inputs revealed that Jaish-e-Mohammed (JeM) is planning to carry out another terror attack similar to that of Pulwama attack.
As per a news report in Zee News, the Masood Azhar-led JeM is planning to carry out an IED attack in Quazigund and Anantnag of south Kashmir. Intelligence sources have reportedly claimed that a Tata Sumo SUV or such a vehicle is likely to be used in the strike. In view of the inputs, security has been tightened across the state. The inputs are also about a convoy attack.
On Thursday, a grenade attack was carried out at a bus stop in Jammu. A teenager was killed while 32 others were left injured in the attack.
The suspect was arrested and during the investigations, he confessed to the crime and revealed that the attack was masterminded by District Commander of Hizbul Mujahideen in Kulgam, Farooq Ahmed Bhatt alias Omar.
The Pulwama Terror attack on February 14, in which 40 CRPF personnel were killed was one of the worst terror attack witnessed in the state of Jammu and Kashmir in a decade. In the worst of terror attacks on jawans, an explosive-laden SUV rammed into one of the buses of a convoy of the security personnel.
