The Hush Post: Parliament attack convict Afzal Guru’s son Ghalib Guru has cleared the Class XII conducted by the Jammu and Kashmir Board of exam School Education (BOSE) with distinction. He secured 88 per cent in the examination, the results for which were announced today.
Not too pleased with his score as he expected better score, he is preparing for NEET. A student of SRM Welkins School, Sopore, his teachers are all praise for him for his hard work, discipline and commitment. He had secured 95 per cent marks in Class X. “He is bright and disciplined,” said one of his teachers. “Students in Kashmir have to study amid turmoil. With bandh and curfew an everyday affair, I had to do a lot of self-study. Local teachers guided me,” Ghalib said while talking to a national daily. He was only two when his father was arrested. “I am glad he has proved himself,” said his motherer Tabbasum.
