The Hush Post: Former Indian cricketer Rahul Dravid has registered a complaint against a firm in Bengaluru for alleged cheating. Dravid lodged a complaint against Vikram Investment Company for cheating him of Rs 4 crore.
There have been reports earlier of many sportspersons and celebrities being cheated by the company. But no one registered a complaint against them.
Some weeks ago, the police had arrested five persons, including a former sports journalist, for duping many people through Vikram Investment Company.
The owners of the company Raghavendra Sreenath and agents Sutram Suresh, Narasimhamurthy, K C Nagaraj and Prahlad have been since arrested.
Dravid alleged that he had made an investment of Rs 20 crore in the company in 2014. He was assured of getting higher returns. He says, he is yet to get back Rs 4 crore which equals the principal investment. Dravid has got Rs 16 crore, but he is yet to get the remainder of the amount.
