India has got its first restaurant where one can have sky dining experience. Bengaluru has got this restaurant where one can have a unique experience of fly dining.
People can literally hang in while having meals here. The restaurant has a deck with a big dining table in the middle. It has 22 chairs around and goes up 160 feet in the sky. A crane lifts these chairs and the dining table. People can have meals amidst an aerial view of Nagawara Lake, Manyata Techpark and city’s green cover, a report said.
For those who are scared of heights, the restaurant ensures full safety. The deck is safe with three belts attached to the chairs, the report said.
The restaurant follows a set menu at Fly Dining. They don’t cook the food here. The pre-prepared meals are served in the sky. For dinner, there’s grilled chicken (or sautéed vegetables) with herbed rice, croquettes and bruschetta. Besides, the menu includes a fruit bowl and a mocktail. A dinner session can last up to an hour. A half-an-hour mocktail session includes a drink and some snacks.
The restaurant does not allow pregnant women and kids below 13-14 years from going on the deck. One needs to have at least 4 feet 5 inch (135cm) height to go Fly Dining while there are no weight specifications.
When it comes to the dining cost it is not very exorbitant. One can book individual spots or the entire table in advance. The mocktail session’s price is Rs 3,999 per person, while dinner costs Rs 6,999 per head including taxes.
