Myntra CEO Ananth Narayanan and CFO Dipanjan Basu resign

After sudden exit of Flipkart co-founder Binny Bansal’s from the company on charges of grave ‘personal misconduct’, Myntra CEO Ananth Narayanan and CFO Dipanjan Basu have also resigned.

Myntra is owned by Flipkart.

Earlier, Narayanan used to report to Binny Bansal. According to a report, Ananth Narayanan allegedly had a conflict with Kalyan Krishnamurthy. After Binny Bansal’s exit, Walmart said that Narayanan will remain the CEO of Myntra and Jabong. So from now, he has to report to Kalyan Krishnamurthy. Sources also said that Myntra could see an attrition in the workforce in coming months.

Narayanan joined Myntra as CEO in July 2015. Earlier he worked in Mckinsey & Co. He joined Myntra when several executives from consultancy companies had joined Flipkart group companies and other top internet majors.

Recently, CEO of Jabong, Gunjan Soni had resigned from the company. Ananya Tripathi who was head of strategy and category business also resigned.
