Zakir Khan has spent Rs 7.5 lakh to make this one-seater bike that turns heads wherever it goes
The Hush Post: A 13-feet-long chopper like motorcycle can be seen plying on the congested roads of Bengaluru these days, thus forcing the people to turn their heads to have a look on this rare bike again.
The bike has been designed by an interior designer from Bengaluru. The 29-year-old interior Zakir Khan has made what is, perhaps, one of the longest bikes of the world, a report said.
Khan is showcasing his “chopper bike” that weighs 450kg at the Durga Parameshwari BDA grounds in JP Nagar Phase II on Saturday and Sunday. He has spent Rs 7.5 lakh to make this one-seater bike.
“It took me 45 days to design this customised bike. I’ve enhanced a 220cc bike engine with more power and customised the chasis for a top speed of 120km/hr,” Zakir Khan was reported as saying in the report.
The bike has a 6-foot-long fork and silencers in the front and was made in his workshop near his residence in Nagarbhavi. The bike is 5.5 feet wide and uses for its rear wheel the tyre of a mini-truck, the report said.
