Khanna Police arrest thieves near Machiwara Sahib, had carried out theft in more than dozen shops


The Hush Post: Khanna Police arrested five thieves near Machiwara Sahib. The arrested took place when five suspected youths were trying to run away from a police barricade laid at Machiwara Sahib.

Upon being frisked, the cops recovered nine mobile phones, Rs 5,000/- cash from the custody of these culprits. During the khannainvestigation, they accepted that they had carried out 13 thefts from different shops. A case has been registered against them all under section 457/380 of the Indian Penal Code.

The suspected have been identified as Dukhna from Khakhriya (Bihar) now residing at Dashmesh Nagar Machiwarra Sahib, Laxman Kumar from Khakhriya (Bihar) now living at Jhugiya Balibeg Machiwarra Sahib, Ram Pandit also from Khakhriya (Bihar) Saroj Kumar and Govinda.

This was disclosed by Dhruv Dahiya Senior Superintendent of Police, Khanna. The drive was conducted under the supervision of Jasvir Singh, DSP/I/Khanna, Jagwinder Singh, DSP/I/Khanna and others.
