The Hush Post: A 23-year-old woman  attempted suicide outside the official residence of Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar Tuesday evening. As per preliminary reports coming in, the woman consumed a poisonous substance outside the chief minister’s residence located at Sector 3 in the city.

The lady was at once rushed to Government Multi-Speciality Hospital, Sector 16. From there she was referred to the Post Graduate Institute of Medical Education and Research (PGIMER) where her condition is said to be critical. The woman has been identified as Bhashika, a resident of Sector-15 in Hisar. Reportedly, she is a student of medical science.

It is still unclear as to why she took the extreme step. The cops are waiting for the woman to recover before any further details could be divulged.

Meanwhile, the Chandigarh Police have cordoned off the area with heavy police deployed around the CM’s residence.
