Four Indians rank among the top ten batsmen in Test cricket according to the latest ICC rankings released. While Virat Kohli took the number one spot from Steven Smith, Cheteshwar Pujara, Ajinkya Rahane and Lokesh Rahul too figure among the top ten batsmen. Among the bowlers, England’s James Anderson tops the list followed by India’s left-arm spinner Ravindra Jadeja at number two and right arm off break bowler Ravichandran Ashwin at four. Kasigo Rabada of South Africa is at number 3.
In the ODI’s Kohli again retains the number one spot while another Indian Rohit Sharma is at number seven. In the bowler’s category, Hasan Ali of Pakistan is at the top position followed by Imran Tahir of South Africa and India’s Jasprit Bumrah at number three. Another Indian bowler, Axar Patel is at number eight.
In T20 format as well, Kolhi is the number one batsman while among the bowlers Jasprit Bumrah is at number two after Imad Wasim of Pakistan. Ashwin also makes it to the list of top ten just on the edge.
