According to Pakistani media reports, Imran khan’s pet dogs are the main reason behind the dispute.
The Hush Post: Barely two months into marriage, Pakistani cricketer-turned-politician Imran Khan and his third wife, Bushra Maneka seem to have called it quits. Bushra has left Imran Khan’s home and returned to her maternal home after having a dispute with him.
According to Pakistani media reports, Imran khan’s pet dogs are the main reason behind the dispute. The reports say that Bushra, a faith healer in her 40s, had evicted the dogs soon after marriage. But the dogs have returned now. Bushra Maneka , who is also known as Pinki Pir, had citied problems performing her religious rituals while the dogs were around in the house.
Imran Khan, the chairman of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf, married Bushra Maneka – whom he calls his spiritual guide – in February. Media reports had suggested then that Imran Khan was under immense pressure to perform this marriage.
Meanwhile, it is learnt that the newly-married couple had discord over Bushra’s son from previous marriage who was residing with them for a long time now. Before marriage, the couple had agreed that no one from Bushra’s family would stay for a longer period of time at Imran’s residence. However, overdue presence of Bushra’s son at his Bani Gala residence had annoyed Imran Khan.
Another Pakistan daily also reported that Imran Khan’s sisters were living at Bani Gala and were actively taking part in its renovation work which Bushra did not like.
Imrank Khan’s first wife was Jemima Goldsmith. They married in 1995 and divorced after nine years. His second marriage with Reham Khan, then a TV anchor, lasted barely 10 months.
