Well, activity tracker or smart watch can help you motivate exercise and also keep track of your sex life. A reporter got a gift from her boyfriend. The gift was a Fitbit smart watch. Through, the device she found out that suddenly at 4:00 am his physical activity spiked up quite mysteriously.
Later, this reporter named Jane Slater was able to confirm her boyfriend was cheating on her.
Last week, NFL Network reporter Jane Slater replied to a fellow correspondent’s tweet about the Peloton bike and the brand’s recent, controversial holiday ad by sharing the story of her former beau’s fitness-tracker fail.
Her shocking admission has since gone viral, with over 46,000 shares and thousands of comments.
Many teased that the horror story should inspire “every” woman to purchase their partner a Fitbit
“Spoiler alert: He was not enrolled in an OrangeTheory class at 4 a.m.,” Slater added.
The 38-year-old reporter said she “sobbed uncontrollably” when she put the clues together. However, ever since she has moved on and says she’s laughed “many times” about the Fitbit fail.
Making light of the situation, other jokesters teased that the horror story should inspire “every” woman to purchase their partner a Fitbit, and “glue it” to their wrists to monitor any activity.
Many said that Slater should thank Fitbit for shedding light on her ex-beau’s infidelity. A normal sexual activity can boost your heart rate to about 100 to 110 in a minute. This kind of pulse rate is not a result of strenuous exercise but only due to something as unusual as sex or high fever.
An Ex Boyfriend once got me a Fitbit for Christmas. I loved it. We synched up, motivated each other… didn’t hate it until he was unaccounted for at 4am and his physical activity levels were spiking on the app 🥴wish the story wasn’t real. https://t.co/npRkLJYYz0
