Four injured in a fist fight in a Gururdwara in Indianapolis.
The Hush Post:  Four persons were injured in a brawl which involved 100-odd men at Gurdwara Shri Guru Hargobind Sahib, Greenwood today.
The injured were immediately admitted to Franciscan Health Indianapolis. They are out of danger.
Fifty police vehicles were dispatched to control the outbreak and eight fire brigades and ambulances were pressed into service.
The dispute arose when the newly elected members of the body sought handing over of donations collected after the celebration of the 319th Khalsa Day. Those in power were against handing over of donations to the new committee. It is being reported that the infighting has been going on for quiet some time now. On receiving a call from the Sikh gurdwara shortly before 3 pm, the police arrived at the spot and found 100 to 150 people involved in arguments and were physically assaulting each other which resulted in three to four persons getting injured.The Gurdwara Management Committee elections are held once in two years. There was disagreement between the outgoing and incoming body which resulted in the fight.Meanwhile, the police is collecting information regarding what led to the brawl, including CCTV cameras. The matter is under investigation.
