A 53-year-old Indian origin man went to a police station in northern California with a dead body in his car. He also reportedly confessed that he had killed three other people.
According to the reports, all the four deceased were related to Shankar Nagappa Hangud, the suspected IT professional. The man drove a red Mazda 6 to Mount Shasta police station.
The police station authorities reportedly said that the murderer claimed to have the three other dead bodies at his home. However, the identities of the victims and their relationship with the murderer were not disclosed.
The police also informed that the murders were committed over several days. The Indian-American murderer was shifted to custody at the South Placer Jail at the Siskiyou County.
Captain Joshua Simons reportedly told that this was the first time that such killing had occurred in the Rosevillle’s Placer County city.
“We are still working to put that timeline together,” Simon reportedly said after confirming that Shankar was the only suspect in the case.
