Hollywood star Robert Pattinson is the world’s most handsome man, says science. It’s not the judges at contests who say so. It’s the scientists who have declared him the most beautiful man on the planet.
Robert Pattinson has scored 92.15 percent on the Golden Ratio of Beauty Phi. The “Golden Ratio of Beauty Phi” standards are measurements of facial proportions. Greek scholars applied these standards while trying to define beauty with scientific formula.
The score means Pattinson’s face is 92.15 percent perfect.
Pattinson, popular for his portrayal of Edward Cullen in the Twilight film series, has beaten Henry Cavill, Bradley Cooper and Brad Pitt among others for the title.
Harley Street facial cosmetic surgeon Dr Julian De Silva conducted the study. He compiled the list using the latest computerised mapping techniques.
On the selection of the 33-year-old actor, Silva said, “Robert Pattinson was the clear winner when all elements of the face were measured for physical perfection.”
Silva further said Pattinson “was in the top five for nearly all the categories because he has such classically shaped features and a wonderful chiselled jaw.”
Henry Cavill followed Pattinson with a score of 91.64.
Cooper and Pitt were placed third and fourth with a score of 91.08 and 90.51 respectively. Rounding up the top five was actor George Clooney.
Hugh Jackman, David Beckham, Idris Elba, Kanye West and Ryan Gosling also made to the list.
