2019 Triumph Tiger 800 XCa launched in India

Automobiles @ The Hush Post | Triumph Motorcycles India will launch the 2019 Triumph Tiger 800 XCa today. This is going to be one of the best off-roaders available in the country. Presently Triumph 2018 Tiger 800 XCx is available in India. 2019 Tiger XCa will bring a load of upgrades over XCx. It has more than 200 component level engine and chassis updates, over 50 genuine Triumph accessories and 6 programmable riding modes: Off-Road, Off-Road Pro, Road, Rain, Sport and Rider.

It houses an 800 cc liquid-cooled, 12 valve, DOHC, in-line 3-cylinder engine that produces 95 PS/ 94 bhp (70 kW) @ 9,500 rpm and 79Nm @ 8,050rpm and is mated to a 6-speed gearbox. It has a LCD multi­functional instrument pack with digital speedometer, trip computer, analogue tachometer, gear position indicator, fuel gauge, service indicator, ambient temperature, and clock.

It is equipped with twin 305 mm floating discs, Nissin 2-­piston sliding calipers, switchable ABS in the front and Single 255 mm disc, Nissin single piston sliding caliper, switchable ABS at the rear. It comes with a LED-equipped lighting, Ride-by-wire throttle, heated rider and pillion seats with independent controls for each, traction control, USB & 12v power sockets and cruise control.2019 Triumph Tiger 800 XCa 5.jpg

To enhance its off-roading capabilities, it’s equipped with Showa 43 mm upside down forks, 180 mm travel front suspension and Showa monoshock with hydraulically adjustable preload, 170 mm rear wheel travel at the rear. When it comes to the wheels, it is fitted with cast aluminium alloy 10­-spoke 19 x 2.5 front wheel and cast aluminium alloy 10-spoke 17 x 4.25 rear wheel with 100/90-­19 front tyre and 150/70 R17 rear tyre which is prefect for taking on any type of terrain.2019 Triumph Tiger 800 XCa 7.jpg

The bike will be up against Honda Africa Twin, Kawasaki Versys 1000, Ducati Multistrada 950 and the BMW F 850 GS. Currently Triumph Tiger 800 starts at Rs. 11,99,500 Lacs Ex-Showroom. The new Tiger XCa is expected to be priced around 15 Lacs Ex-Showroom which will bring its price dangerously close to the Tiger 1200.
