The iconic bike-maker Royal Enfield has launched two new models, the Bullet Trials Works Replica 350 and 500 in India. The name Royal Enfield Trials is adopted from Royal Enfield motorcycles of the 1950s which were known for their ruggedness and road capabilities. Both the new models are based on the existing Royal Enfield Bullet 350 cc and 500 cc models. The Royal Enfield design team has done a great work in retaining its retro scrambler looks.
The Trials 350 sports the same 346 cc single-cylinder engine from the Bullet 350 which produces 19.8 bhp and 28 Nm of torque and is mated to a 5-speed gearbox. The Trials 500 uses 499 cc single-cylinder engine from the Bullet 500 which produces 26.1 bhp and 40.9 Nm of torque.
The motorcycle is a perfect choice for those who want to explore the off-road destinations where other motorcycles fail to survive. The whole design philosophy of the motorcycle is based on making it a capable off-roader. Both the 350 cc and 500 cc models sport dual channel disc brakes, (280 mm disc at the front and a 240 mm disc at the rear) along with telescopic forks at the front and twin shock absorbers at the rear.
The frame comes from the bullet 350 models and is painted in different colors, it gets a luggage rack, an up swept exhaust and a single spring-mounted seat. Due to its up swept exhaust the rear footpegs are not possible, so there is no possibility of a rear seat as well. The company has offered a wide range of accessories to enhance the retro and old school look of the motorcycles.
The Royal Enfield Bullet Trials Works Replica 350 is priced at Rs 1.62 Lakh and Trials 500 is priced at Rs 2.07 Lakh, ex-showroom, India. The Royal Enfield Trials is one of its kind in the market and at present has no rivals in the market.
