The Hush Post: A man from Bhopal on Thursday created ruckus and refused to pay fine for violating traffic rules, claiming that he was the brother-in-law of Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan.
According to an ANI report, the CM subsequently was quoted as saying, “Aisa hai ki meri karoron behene hain MP mein aur main bahut se logon ka saala hun. Kanoon apna kaam karega,” meaning thereby — “I have millions upon millions of sisters and I am a brother-in-law to as many. But law will take its own course.”
Meanwhile, the video has gone viral, in which the name-dropper man can be seen arguing with a policeman, who refused to pay heed to his claim and continued his duty. The police constable also recorded the claim made by the man.
“I am chief minister’s brother-in-law. Who do you think you are? (Mukhyamantri mere Saale hai. Tum kya samjte hoo aapne aap ko),”the man said. A woman accompanying the man also dialled some number saying, “speak to the minister.”However, the police refused to pay heed to what seemed like an open threat.
