The Hush Post: The National Group Editor of Dainik Bhaskar allegedly committed suicide as per various media reports from Indore and Bhopal. These reports are contrary to what was published by Dainik Bhaskar yesterday which claimed that he died of heart attack.
The post-mortem report suggests that he died of multiple fractures. According to DIG Hari Narayanchari Mishra earlier there was a theory of cardiac arrest doing their rounds. However, now it has come to light that he ‘fell from the building.’ Whether he accidentally fell or he jumped from the building will be investigated.
The police have not found any suicide note. He reached the top of the building at about 10:30 pm and committed suicide.
Earlier, there were reports, the first one in Dainik Bhaskar itself, which suggested that he had a cardiac arrest. According to news report in lokmatnew.in his shoe impressions while climbing upstairs were found. Police have confiscated his mobile, laptop and ipad. Senior police officials and FSL team reached the spot after the incident and found the shoe imprints of Yagnik on the AC compressor probably from where he jumped, as per reports in Naiduniya.
As per a report in bhadas4media quoting Pradesh Today newspaper, there is also a CCTV footage of Kalpesh Yagnik falling off the roof.
Yagnik leaves behind his mother Pratibha, wife Bharti, two daughters Sherna and Shaurya, and brother’s Neeraj and Anurag.
