Accused Yakov allegedly applied too much pressure on the woman’s neck, all in excitement, and she got stifled and died
The Hush Post: Sudden burst during sex can be killing. But here is a completely different case. The Mumbai police have registered a case of culpable homicide not amounting to murder against a 23-year- old Israeli national, who accidental killed her girlfriend, also an Israeli while having sex.
It all happened during an act of sexual intercourse in their hotel room. Oriron Yakov allegedly applied too much pressure on the woman’s neck, all in excitement, and she got stifled and asphyxiated and died. Before Yakov could figure out what had happened it was too late.
The incident had taken place happened in March last year when Yakov and the woman visited India on a tourist visa and stayed at a hotel in Colaba area of south Mumbai, the police official said.
On the day of the incident, Yakov informed the staff that his girlfriend was lying motionless in the room. The woman was taken to a hospital where she was declared dead, he said, adding that a case of accidental death was registered at that time as the exact cause of her demise was not known.
The woman’s family later took the body of the girl to Israel. The official said that the police recently received the forensic lab’s report which mentioned that the woman died of suffocation. Based on findings of the report, the police registered a case against Yakov, who is at present in Israel adding that a probe was on in the case.
On Monday Yakov was booked under IPC section related to culpable homicide not amounting to murder after the forensic science lab’s report confirmed that his 20-year-old girlfriend, also an Israeli national, had died of suffocation during an act of sexual intercourse, he said.
