We want Pakistan Occupied Kashmir (PoK). This is what Shiv Sena in its latest attack on the Centre said. Raking up new Indian Army Chief General Naravane’s comment on waiting for the Centre’s order to reclaim Pakistan-occupied-Kashmir (PoK), Saama editorial read that PM Modi should go ahead and reclaim PoK.
Shiv Sena, in its mouthpiece editorial ‘Saamna,’ said Centre should give the Army a map of India. It should permit the Army chief to reclaim the PoK. This it said if the government is actually serious about wiping out the “tukde-tukde” gang.
The editorial said that the General said nothing wrong. Most of the terror training camps are in PoK and Pakistan is running these terror camps.
Pakistan’s attitude hasn’t changed despite surgical strikes conducted by India.
The editorial said that the Kashmir issue comes to the fore only for political and electoral purposes.
“That is why we welcome General Naravane’s new policy. General Naravane says Indian parliament had in February 1994 passed a resolution that entire Jammu and Kashmir, including PoK, is an inseparable part of India,” it said.
Asserting that General Naravane is asking for orders from Centre, the editorial said, “Prime Minister Narendra Modi will give such orders…this is what the country wishes.”
Hailing Home Minister Amit Shah for the abrogation of Article 370, “Now as soon as General Naravane gets orders from Modi-Shah, PoK will be ours. Also, Veer Savarkar will be garlanded with flowers of Akhand Bharat.”
The editorial urged the Centre to not get back on the issue. It said this will be the best way to teach “Tukde-Tukde gang” a lesson.
Army Chief General Naravane had recently said if Army gets orders it will take action to reclaim PoK.
