Former Indian captain Saurav Ganguly took over as BCCI president on Wednesday. He became the first cricketer in 65 years to take charge as full-time BCCI president.
In a tribute to his career as an Indian batsman, when he took charge as BCCI president, he wore the same blazer as he got as captain of the Indian cricket team.

From lending support to skipper Virat Kohli to Dhoni’s future course of action, he talked to the media.
“I will speak to him (Virat Kohli) tomorrow. He is the captain of India. He is the most important man in Indian cricket. We will support him in every way, ” he said about Indian skipper Virat.
Ganguly also said that he will give Dhoni enough space to make his own decision. “Don’t know what’s on his (Dhoni’s) mind. Champions don’t finish very quickly. When everybody counted me off I came back and played for four more years,” said Ganguly.
Ganguly retired from Test cricket in 2008.
