The Hush Post: Bollywood actor Tanushree Dutta, who accused actor Nana Patekar of sexually harassing her has finally moved a complaint against Nana Patekar.
She claimed that she was sexually assaulted on a film set in the year 2008 on the sets of a film Horn Ok Please.
In the complaint, Tanushree Dutta has also named a choreographer Ganesh Acharya, who was involved with the film. Nana Patekar, who has denied the charges, had sent her a legal notice. The notice was to withdraw the allegations and apologise.
34-year-old Dutta filed a police complaint at Oshiwara police station, located at Mumbai’s Andheri West on Saturday. She says 67-year-old Nana behaved inappropriately on the sets of a film during a song sequence.
As of now no FIR has been registered in this case. Earlier on Saturday, cornered by reporters at the Mumbai airport, Nana Patekar rejected the claims and said they were untrue. “Jo jhooth hai, woh jhooth hai (A lie is a lie)” he said before getting into a car. “Dus saal pehle iska jawaab de chuka hoon (I had said this 10 years ago),” he said.
Choreographer Ganesh Acharya too said that the incident had “never happened.”
“He was grabbing my hands and teaching me how to dance,” Tanushree Dutta had reportedly told NDTV. Dutta had also alleged political threats and violence against her by activists of the Maharashtra Navnirman Sena or MNS, after she protested the incident 10 years ago.
