Man can smell and tell if a woman is sexually aroused or not, a recent study has revealed. The study says that men found that men find women more attractive when they are sexually aroused.

The findings have been published in the Archives of Sexual Behaviour.

Scientists say that men can differentiate between the scents of sexually aroused and non-aroused women.

Arnaud Wisman from the University of Kent in the UK said that women release olfactory signals upon sexual arousal. He said that men are sensitive to these signals which increase sexual motivation.

Researchers have previously concluded that humans can communicate and detect emotions such as fear or sadness through scent. Sexual arousal is also identified as an emotional physical state.

For the study men were provided with axillary sweat samples from anonymous sexually aroused and non-aroused women. The men evaluated the axillary sweat of sexually aroused women as more attractive, compared to the scent of the same women when not sexually aroused.
