Mayawati announces her candidature for Prime Minister’s post

On the occasion of her 63rd birthday, BSP leader Mayawati got a pleasant surprise as she has been announced as the PM candidate from the alliance. In the upcoming Lok Sabha elections, Mayawati would compete against Congress leader Rahul Gandhi and current Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

National spokesperson of BSP Sudhindra Bhadoria congratulated the party leader in a unique way. He put the posters saying “Well wishes for India’s to be prime minister on her birthday”.

Earlier this Saturday, BSP has announced alliance with Samajwadi Party in Uttar Pradesh. BSP last had a pre-poll alliance with any party in year 1996. The major reason behind the alliance of these parties is to give a tough fight to BJP unitedly.

Today, Mayawati appealed her party members and the workers of Samajwadi party to forget about the past issues and rivalries. Addressing the party workers, she said that it would be an ideal birthday gift for her if they’d work together to seek victory. She also attacked the current government for the economical violations in the country.

Two parties have decided to share 50 percent of the seats of the state. Both the parties will contest 38 seats each. However both the parties have decided not to contest in Amethi and Rae Bareli which are already represented by Rahul Gandhi.
