32 DEAD AS BUS DRIVEN BY 16-YR-OLD CONDUCTOR FALLS INTO CANAL IN RAJASTHAN

The Hush Post: A bus went out of driver’s control in Sawai Madhopur, Rajasthan and fell into Banas canal. Importantly, the driver was untrained and carried out the duties of the conductor. However, today when the accident happened he was driving while the driver sat alongside. The conductor was a minor, probably between 16 and 17 years of age as per the reports in News 18 Network.

Initial reports suggested that about 20 people were feared killed even as the rescue operations were on. However, the latest reports say that 32 people have died in the accident. Among those dead are 22 men, seven women and three children. About 18 passengers injured are being treated at the nearby hospital. Many bodies have already been recovered. Some of the injured who were rescued by the people have been admitted to the hospital.

The rescue operations were on till the reports last came in. Eighteen dead have been identified most of them are from Sawai Madhopur and two are from Uttar Pradesh.
