The Hush Post: Jammu and Kashmir National Conference MLA Akbar Lone raised pro-Pakistan slogans in the house immediately after BJP MLAs started raising anti-Pakistan slogans following the terrorist attack in Sunjawan military Cantonment in Jammu.
Speaking to the media, Akbar Lone said that he was instigated into doing so after BJP MLAs started raising anti-Pakistan rant in the assembly.
“Yes, I said it. It is my personal view, I said it in the house and I don’t think anyone should have a problem with it,” Lone said. However, National Conference president Farooq Abdullah, distanced himself from Lone’s stand and said that the party does not approve of Lone’s behavior and the party has got nothing to do with it.
Junaid Azim Matoo tweeted: “Just spoke to President Dr. Farooq Abdullah Sahib. Dr. Sahib and the entire party is of the unequivocal stand that NC MLA from Sonawari Mr. Akbar Lone has spoken out of turn and his slogans in the Legislative Assembly are completely unacceptable to the party.”
Earlier, terrorists intruded into Sunjwan Military Cantonment in the morning hours and killed two soldiers of the Indian and two children. The encounter between the holed up terrorists and army is still going on.
